Lee Scott  Ofer Ziv  bio


Ofer Ziv grew up in Israel where at the age of thirteen he began studying guitar. At a young age he was already a passionate listener and collector of all styles of music; he was always the one to introduce others to “new music”. After moving to Los Angeles he sought to discover his own style by studying with private teachers and attending music courses at Musician’s Institute in Hollywood and UCLA.  At the same time he became involved with the local music/film/theatre scene.  Ofer has composed and produced music in Europe and the USA for a wide variety of projects including commercials, films, documentaries and trailers.
Eventually he realized that his interest lay in the production side of music, and shifted his focus to the role of producer and manager of other artists. Ofer’s interest in the music of all cultures led to working with a variety of groups and artists on the world music scene from around the globe.
Ofer’s collaborations include Jai Uttal, Steve Shehan, Esta, Sheva, and Omar Faruk Tekbilek, to name a few.
Ziv is commited to bringing new uplifting artists to the broader public as her continues touring with his artists, promoting and producing concerts for a wide variety of festivals and venues throughout the world, including “The Poetry of Peace” festival as part of the Dalai Lama’s “World Festival of Sacred Music”.




Lee Scott grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He began his musical studies with the clarinet at the age of 11. He subsequently studied saxophone, flute, guitar and keyboards. After receiving a degree in composition from the University of Georgia he moved to Los Angeles to attend California Institute of the Arts where he studied composition and electronic music with Morton Subotnick, finishing with a master’s degree.
  Scott then abandoned the world of "serious" music to start a punk band - "Toxic Pets" in 1982 and participated in the flourishing L.A. music scene. During the same period he landed a job as a music copyist with one of his heroes - Frank Zappa. Scott also wrote and produced music for cartoon shows and computer games. For the past twelve years he has worked as a music editor and composer for feature films. His credits include "The Thin Red Line", "Moulin Rouge!"  and "Me, Myself and Irene"
